SUMMER STUDENT POSITION - JANITOR

Temporary Contract Up to 8 Weeks; Starting June 2024. 37.5 Hours per Week. $18.20/hour

PHARA is seeking a customer service-oriented student to join our team.

You will play a vital role to the organization by performing cleaning and maintenance at PHARA’s three North Bay locations, including 280 Oakwood Avenue, 200 Oakwood Avenue, and 122 Massey Drive. The position has a standard shift (but not limited to) M to F, 830 am - 430 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Health and Safety experience.

• Cleaning or maintenance experience is an asset.

• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

This position is funded through Employment and Social Development Canada. As a requirement of this opportunity, the successful candidate must also;

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment:

• Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act [S.C. 2001, c.27]*; and

• Be legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
