The Maintenance / Administrative Assistant (Housing) will assist in the daily operations of PHARA’s three North Bay locations, including 280 Oakwood Avenue, 200 Oakwood Avenue, and 122 Massey Drive. The position includes assisting with maintenance repairs and janitorial duties, responding to tenant inquiries, fostering positive tenant relations, and facilitating access to community and social supports.

As an Independent Living Assistant within our Outreach Program, you will drive to clients’ homes in Redbridge and surrounding areas. You will support clients of a variety of ages, including young adults to seniors, by assisting them with activities of daily living and support services, including personal care and personal hygiene, homemaking, and mobility. 

The RSW assists/teaches clients in their rehabilitative activities including life skills so that maximum independence and identified goals are achieved. The RSW will lead individual physical and cognitive rehabilitation sessions as well as facilitate exercise groups under the authorization of an OT/PT authorized to work in Ontario.
